Delta State’s Small Business Development Center to offer free workshops

Delta State University’s Small Business Development Center, which assists small business owners with their start-up and expansion needs, will be offering a series of free small business workshops in the Delta area during the month of February.

 
Registration is required for all the workshops.             
                                       
First Steps – Cleveland – Tuesday, Feb. 2: This workshop is aimed at assisting with the first steps necessary to start your own business. The workshop will be held from 3-5 p.m. in Room 271 of Broom Hall on the campus of Delta State University.                                            
 
First Steps – Greenwood – Saturday, Feb 9: This workshop is aimed at assisting with the first steps necessary to start your own business. The workshop will be held from noon- 3 p.m. at the Jodie Wilson Branch Public Library, 409 East Stone in Greenwood.
 
Customer Service – Tunica – Monday, Feb. 11: This workshop will work to establish and strengthen customer service skills to all businesses. The workshop will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the G.W. Henderson Recreation Center, 1165 Abbay Street in Tunica.
 
First Steps – Greenville – Tuesday, Feb. 12: This workshop is aimed at assisting with the first steps necessary to start your own business. The workshop will be held from 6-8 p.m. at the Greenville Higher Education Center, 2900 A Hwy 1 South in Greenville.
 
First Steps– Clarksdale – Wednesday, Feb. 20: This workshop is aimed at assisting with the first steps necessary to start your own business. The workshop will be held from 3-5 p.m. at the Carnegie Public Library, 114 Delta Avenue in Clarksdale.                
 
First Steps– Cleveland – Thursday, Feb 21: This workshop is aimed at assisting with the first steps necessary to start your own business. The workshop will be held from 6-8 p.m. in Room 271 of Broom Hall on the campus of Delta State.
 
Developing a Business Plan– Cleveland – Tuesday, Feb. 26: This workshop is designed to assist in developing a business plan that can be used for financing purposes. The workshop will be held from 6-8 p.m. in Room 271 of Broom Hall on the campus of Delta State University.
