Miss Mississippi 2005 Kristian Dambrino, a junior graphic design major at Delta State University, is currently in Los Angeles preparing for her appearance in the upcoming Miss America pageant. Dambrino, 20, will be the first Miss Mississippi to compete in the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas, as the two-hour pageant will be telecast from the Aladdin, airing live on CMT (Country Music Television) at 7 p.m. Jan. 21, then tape broadcast at 9:30 p.m. Faculty, staff and student can wish Miss Mississippi well by sending notes and cards to: Kristian Dambrino, Mississippi; Aladdin Hotel & Casino; 3667 S. Las Vegas Blvd.; Las Vegas NV 89129. Dambrino will be sharing a room with Miss Montana, so sending flowers and gifts is discouraged for space reasons.
