Scope and Content:
The World War II Collection was an Advanced Research Writing Class (ELR 702) DSU Project that focused on World War II veterans and people on the home front during the war. Twelve students interviewed, wrote introductions, and purpose and focused on the events of December 7, 1941 and the ensuing war. This collection contains the class papers prepared by each student and also related news clippings, however, the transcription of each of the interviewees have been separated from this collection and made a part of the World War II Oral History Collection. The file contains a listing of the interviewees.
This Advanced Research Writing Class Project was in August 2002. It is still a class offered to graduate and doctorate students. See attached syllabus.
