The Alice Sullivan Pharis Collection contains photos and news clippings of the Delta Belles. The Delta State Delta Belles began in 1957 under the leadership of Band Director Ralph Franklin. Mrs. Dorothy Franklin assisted in the training. They were a group of twenty-six dancing majorettes and performed precision dance and march steps along with the Delta State College band. This collection contains photos and news clippings about the group.
