Biographical:
Audley William Shands 1878-1934. Mr. Shands made the first public declaration for a normal school in Cleveland and took the dominant role necessary to create Delta State. He was an attorney in Cleveland and was a loyal friend of Delta State.
Scope and Content:
The A.W. Shands Papers contain the memoirs of travels during the early to mid 1920’s to American and Canadian Bar Association meetings at home and abroad.
