Rehearsal Room Reservation
The student requesting rehearsal room reservation MUST be a full time DSU student in good academic standing enrolled in DMI coursework and MUST be present at rehearsal. Names of all participants in the rehearsal must be listed on the reservation form. Equipment requests for the rehearsal should be included in the comment box.
Available Hours:
Monday-Friday 6:00pm-midnight
Saturday 9:00am-midnight
Sunday 12:00pm-midnight

Band leader/member/student must complete and submit the information form below to DMI 48 hours or more in advance of rehearsal to secure room reservation. Requests submitted less than 48 hours in advance of the requested start time will not be approved. Requests submitted after 12 pm on Friday will not be processed until the following business day (Monday). A reply to requests is forwarded to the student of record by the DMI Studio/Production Manager (studiomgr@deltastate.edu).
Whitfield 205-A is available for reservation to current DMI students. Any other requests for the use of WH205-A are addressed on an individual basis by the DMI Studio/Production Manager.
Whitfield 205-B is available to current DMI bands only. Any other requests for the use of WH205-B are addressed on an individual basis by Professor Barry Bays
Students reserving DMI rehearsal rooms are prohibited from propping open exterior doors once inside the building. Violations of this policy will result in loss of access to the rehearsal space for one semester.
Please be reminded that DMI policy mandates that the student of record must not leave the rehearsal room unattended at any time, no persons should be involved in a rehearsal that have not been listed on the form, and the student of record is responsible for the proper use and security of all equipment. Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action and/or fines.
