Move In Day

DSU’s Student Government Association, Orientation Leaders, student organizations, local churches, student-athletes, faculty, staff and students will be on hand to assist with greeting/unloading at the residence halls. We will have a “Welcome Tent” where you can stop for some Domino’s Pizza, Pepsi products, snow cones, ice cream sandwiches, and more! Several campus offices will be open to make it convenient for students and parents to finalize plans. The “People Movers” will be offering shuttle services and volunteers will be stationed at campus entrances to assist parents and students in locating places around campus.

Volunteers needed to:
—-Assist at the Welcome tent or greet
—-Direct traffic and help guests locate buildings around campus
—-Serve as a greeter to welcome students and parents at Residence Halls.
—-Help unload student belongings into residence halls
—-Shuttle guests throughout campus, as needed
