| The Delta Open is the fastest growing adult tennis tournament in the state. Since we started in 2013, we have grown from 52 total doubles teams to over 120 teams. We roughly estimate that 300-350 players and spectators come through our tournament throughout the weekend, and we are hoping to grow even larger this year. We have used DSU’s courts in the past as satellite locations for our match play, and there is simply no way for us to pull off a tournament of this size without using the eight courts at DSU. We staff with our tournament volunteers during the matches. |
