The Delta Center for Culture and Learning recently introduced the Mississippi Delta National Heritage Area to a Landscape Architecture class from Louisiana State University. The class spent a week in the Delta, traveling from Vicksburg to Memphis and stopping in Greenville, Clarksdale, Tunica and Cleveland. They spent their final night at the Alluvian Hotel in Greenwood. The LSU class is pictured in front of the “Cast of Blues” collection of life masks in Ewing Hall, outside the Delta Center’s offices.
