Delta State Students Earn High Marks at State Phi Beta Lambda Competition

Once again, Delta State University Phi Beta Lambda Chapter showed itself strong at the State Phi Beta Lambda Competition Feb. 26-27, in Columbus, MS, at the Mississippi University for Women. The Mississippi Board of Trustees of the State Institutions of Higher Learning celebrated Black History Month by holding its annual Diversity and Inclusion Awards ceremony at the meeting held on Feb. 20 in Jackson. Campus and community leaders were recognized for their efforts in advancing diversity and encouraging understanding and respect—including Dr. Glendscene Williams, associate professor of finance and director of the Center for Business and Entrepreneurial Research at Delta State University.
