The Delta State University Alumni Association invites all alumni and friends of the university to the annual Delta State University Alumni South Central Mississippi Chapter Meeting. The meeting will be held Tuesday, November 13 at the State Bank “State Room” in Brookhaven.
“This is a great opportunity to visit with fellow Fighting Okra alumni and also to hear about the latest and greatest things coming from Delta State University,” said South Central Chapter President Luis Ybarra. “We look forward to seeing old friends, making new friends and having a great time at this year’s event!”
The Social will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the dinner and program, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. The South Central Chapter includes, but it not limited to Copiah, Lawrence, Amite, Pike, Lincoln, Walthall, and Franklin counties. All area alumni and friends of Delta State are invited to attend.
“We’re looking forward to this year’s South Central Mississippi Alumni meeting and the opportunity to visit with Delta State alumni and friends of the university,” said Bradley Smith, past president of the South Central chapter. “Our meeting numbers have steadily grown each year, and we hope to have good attendance this year. I encourage all alumni and friends who have attended in the past to reserve their spot and to be sure to remind and invite others.”

The program for the evening consists of special guests from campus to give updates, including Head Baseball Coach Mike Kinnison. Dinner will be catered by Annie P. Goodies.
