Delta State’s Continuing Education offers WOW! The Wonders of Wetlands workshop for teachers

The Delta State University Office of Continuing Education is offering an exciting workshop designed for teachers to learn unique ways of teaching about our wetlands. WOW! The Wonders of Wetlands – Project WET will be held on Saturday, September 15, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. in room 302A of the H. L. Nowell Union on the Delta State campus.

 

WOW! The Wonders of Wetlands is led by the staff of the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science and is a valuable resource for teachers wanting to build respect and environmental appreciation among students through participation in engaging wetland activities. The cost is $40 per person, which includes lunch and the WOW! The Wonders of Wetlands activity guide for use in the classroom. CEU credits of 0.6 will be awarded to each participant.
