Delta State Community Drumming and Dance Experience to Perform April 10

The Delta State University Community Drumming and Dance Experience, led by Dr. Karen Fosheim, Professor of Music, will be performing in the Atrium of Kent Wyatt Hall on Tuesday, April 10,  2012 at 7:30 p.m.  This performance will include traditional rhythms, dances, and songs from West Africa. Josh Armstrong, Delta State Instructor of Percussion, will lead the drummers and dancers in a set of Brazilian Sambas. Featured on the program will be an African remake of the Coldplay song Paradise.
