The Delta State Pageant Board will present the 2011 Most Beautiful Pageant Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in the Delta and Pineland Theatre of the Bologna Performing Arts Center.
Thirty-four contestants will vie for the title of most beautiful. The contestants are Ashely Clinkscales, Brittany Wilson, Nikki Dobbins, Holly Byrd, Jessica Juckett, Emily Herman, Briana Bosworth, Kara Tally, Sarah Breland, Chelsea Talley, Courtney Stevens, Ashton Roach, Cameron Ogletree, Catie Turner, Jennifer Borgognoi, Alyse Malavasi, Shelby McIntire, MacKenzie Kortz, Molly Slonaker, Chelsey Hill, Abby Atwood, Mary Lawson Barlow, Emily Ridge, Briana Sturgis, Elizabeth Solaas, Ainsley McGlothin, Kristy Burns, Tori Jenkins, Madison Wilson, Leslie Mallard, Lauren Ashford, Ursula Burnett, Na’Keesha Jones and Brenda Temple.
Claire Gore will serve student director of the pageant and Bevin Lamb will serve as judges’ chairman. Alanna Ferguson, Rachel Baber, Ursula Burnett, Kyle Christopher, MacKenzie Kortz, Lori McMorrough, Michael Oleis, Kyle Swafford, Brianna Bosworth, Samantha Swafford, Manisha Dadlani, Maci Palasini, Elizabeth Howe, Katelyn Hulett, and Chelsea Talley make up the rest of the pageant board.
James Donald Cooper will serve as master of ceremonies and Dr. James Robinson will serve as pageant musician. Jeanna Dacey Willkes, Charles Ross, Tarvis Calvin, Amber Foster, Melissa Joiner, and Caleb Hollingsworth will provide special entertainment.
The pageant will be at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free to students, faculty and staff. The general public may purchase tickets at the door for $5.00.
