The Delta State University Department of Music will present Lindsey Roy of Greenville in a senior vocal recital at 7:30 p.m., March 22, in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center.
Roy is a student of Dr. Mary Lenn Buchanan, professor of music, at Delta State.
At Delta State, she has served as the Mu Phi Epsilon vice-president for over a year and has recently been inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa honors society. Roy has performed in the Delta State University Honors Recital for two consecutive years. She has been a member of such university ensembles as Chorale, Chamber, and Opera Theatre.
Roy will present pieces by Barber, Honegger, Menotti, Donizetti, and Handel.
