Delta State 2010 Broom yearbook recognized for excellence

The Delta State University Broom yearbook staff has been recognized by Balfour Yearbooks with an Honorable Mention Certificate of Recognition for its outstanding contribution to scholastic journalism. The Delta State University 2010 Broom Yearbook is included in the 2011 Yearbook Yearbook. The Yearbook Yearbook is an annual publication of Balfour Yearbook that recognizes the best work in yearbooks.

“As journalists we tell stories both visually and verbally. I’m humbled by your staff’s stellar work and appreciate the effort it takes to tell your story well. This is my fifth year as editor, and our student publications keep getting better and better,” said Yearbook Yearbook Editor Marilyn Scoggins. “You can be assured the impact of your hard work and long hours are valued by your school community. Kudos to every school recognized in this 25th edition of Yearbook Yearbook. As Balfour continues to honor the best of the best, I look forward to what the next 25 years have in store for both journalists and story tellers.”

Yearbooks published by Balfour for the 2010 school year were evaluated in one or more of the following areas: theme development, layout design, photo content, secondary packages and cover design. For their outstanding yearbook achievement, Balfour recognizes approximately 15 percent of yearbook staffs in Yearbook Yearbook.
