Patrick McPherson and Nicole Nielsen (right) were recently elected Freshman Class Favorites by the students of Delta State University in elections sponsored by the Student Government Association.
McPherson is a business major of Tupelo. He is a member of Pi Kapp Alpha Fraternity, Delta State soccer team, and Student Government Association Student Senate. He is the son of Hal and Deborah McPherson.
Nielsen is a Biology Education major of Southaven. She is a member of Tri Delta Sorority, Catholic Student Association, intramurals, Homecoming Committee, Spirits and Traditions Committee, and junior delegate on the panhellenic council. Her Honors and Awards include the Dean’s List, and Model New Member Award (Tri Delta). She is the daughter of George and Michelle Nielsen.
