The Bologna Performing Arts Center presents Tallahatchie Hayride featuring Charlie Louvin

The Bologna Performing Arts Center (BPAC) will host the Tallahatchie Hayride, featuring the award winning performance of Country Jack & the Silver Eagle Band with an array of local and regional country music talent at  7 p.m.,  Thursday, Nov. 11,  in the BPAC.

Country music legend Charlie Louvin will be the special guest. On November 9, Louvin at age 83, will be releasing his latest album titled, "The Battles Rage On," a collection of war related songs from the civil war to the present just two days before this Veteran’s Day event. Louvin has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1955 when he along with his brother and singing partner, Ira, were inducted as members to the Opry cast following a string of hits that have become classics. The duo parted ways in 1963 and Louvin began his iconic solo career in 1964.
 
Guest artists for the evening will be Freddie Matthews a native of Moorhead, Callie Champion of Belzoni, Outlaw Richard of Silver City, Ben Hall of Okolona, and Odiss Kohn of Greenwood.
