The Educational Leadership Cohort XII members hosted the Annual Leadership Celebration on April 8. Miss. Governor William Winter, 1980 to 1984, was the keynote speaker, as well as current and former Delta State University Educational Leadership faculty.

The Cohort XII members initially enrolled in this full-time principal training program at Delta State University on June 1, 2009 and will complete their course of study in July 2010. All candidates will return to their home school districts to fulfill a multi-year obligation in a school administration or teaching role. To date, over 150 candidates have completed the program since its inception in 1998, with nearly 90% of graduates continuing employment in Delta area school districts.

The event was held in Jacob Conference Center in Ewing Hall on the campus.
