Eads to present senior recital at Delta State

Delta State University’s Music Department will present Sarah Eads, soprano, in her senior voice recital on Tuesday, March 23, at 7:30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center on the campus.

 
Eads is the daughter of Doyle and Joyce Eads of Orlando, Florida. She is a student of Dr. Teri A. Herron, assistant professor of music at Delta State University.
 
Since entering Delta State in 2005, she has been involved with the Delta State Chorale, Chamber Singers, and the Delta State Opera Theater. She has been selected to perform in the Delta State Music Department’s Honor Recital and has placed in the finals at the Mississippi State National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) competition on numerous occasions.
 
Eads will be performing works by Handel, Wolf, Bizet, Debussy, Beach, Bauer, Bonds and Smith-Moore.
