Delta State student Andrew Owen (at right), a senior music major of Cleveland, was recently presented The Jack Winton Gunn Award by Delta State University President Dr. John Hilpert.
The Jack Winton Gunn Award is a cash award that is given for overall academic excellence in honor of the former Dean of the University. It is among the highest honors and awards presented at Delta State University.
The award was presented during the recent Delta State University College of Arts and Sciences Scholarship Reception held in the H.L. Nowell Union.
