Delta State University Homecoming

Oct. 13-18, 2025

Delta State University Announces Enhanced Safety Measures for 2025 Homecoming

Delta State University is proud to welcome our alumni, students, families, and friends back to campus for Homecoming 2025. This is one of our most beloved traditions, and we are committed to ensuring it is not only enjoyable but also safe for everyone who attends.

Working in partnership with local, county, and state law enforcement, Delta State will have an expanded security presence across campus throughout the weekend. Guests can expect controlled access points, visible law enforcement at all major events, and increased staff monitoring. These measures are in place to create a safe environment and allow our community to fully celebrate the spirit of Homecoming.

To maintain a secure atmosphere, the University will conduct security screenings and strictly enforce its clear bag policy at all events. In addition, weapons of any kind behind controlled access points are strictly prohibited. We strongly encourage all visitors to arrive early, carry a valid photo ID, and cooperate fully with law enforcement and staff to ensure a smooth and safe experience.

The safety of our students, alumni, and guests is our top priority.

If you see something, say something. Contact DSU Police at 662-846-4155 or dial 911.
