CAPCOM GO! & Tonight’s Total Lunar Eclipse

March 2 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

$5

A total lunar eclipse happens for our location in the very early morning hours of March 3. Learn how to view the total lunar eclipse and see it yourself in the planetarium. We’ll also watch the full dome film ‘Capcom Go! The Apollo Story’ and discuss current progress of the Artemis mission, NASA’s current program to take us back to the Moon.

CAPCOM Go!: On July 20th 1969, 600 million people around the world gathered to witness a historic moment of human achievement. The world celebrated as astronauts took their first steps on the Moon. But few people were aware of just how huge an effort it had taken to get them there. These Apollo 11 astronauts were just 2 of nearly 400,000 people who had worked over ten years towards this goal. How did they do it, and what did it take to put humans on the Moon? Find out with us!
