The Poverty Simulation

The purpose of this event is to increase the awareness of poverty and empathy for people living in poverty and to learn practical ways to survive and assist those who live in it. It is free and open to anyone on campus or in the community who wants to participate. The simulation lasts several hours so participants must plan to stay for the whole event. Only 85 seats are available, so participants are asked to contact Dr. Jana Donahoe by email at jdonahoe@deltastate.edu or by phone 662-846-4795 (leave message) to reserve a seat.
