Book Talk with W. Ralph Eubanks

W. Ralph Eubanks will be on campus on Thursday, February 19, 2026, to give a book talk related to his latest book *When It’s Darkness on the Delta: How America’s Richest Soil Became Its Poorest Land* (2026, Beacon Press). In *When It’s Darkest on the Delta,* Eubanks examines the history of the Mississippi Delta and explores the roots of the Delta’s economic downturn and how the people of the Delta are working to make changes needed to sustain and revitalizes the region.
