What does this award mean to you? This award lets me know that I am appreciated for the work I have done and still doing.
What do you like best about your job? The staff that I work with and seeing my students accomplishing the many tasks that are set before them. Also, I like being able to teach students that I taught as preschoolers and 2nd generation students. And seeing students that I taught finish college, get married and start their own families, now that’s amazing!
What do you like best about Delta State? Delta State is a home away from home.
What do you like best about living in the Mississippi Delta? The Mississippi Delta has been my home for over 20 years. I have grown to like the rich blues culture it has.
Something most people don’t know about you? That my second love is event planning.
