The Delta State University Department of Music will present Rutger Baukman in his BA Senior Capstone Presentation, “Percussion in Broadway,” at 1: 40 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28th, in the Recital Hall of the Bologna Performing Arts Center. The presentation is free and open to the public.
Baukman, a senior Bachelor of Arts percussion major from Dickinson, Texas, has been involved in Wind Ensemble, Marching band, World Percussion Group and Percussion Ensemble. Baukman is a percussion coordinator for the DSU Honor Band and the drum captain for the DSU Marching Band.
Baukman is from the studio of Dr. Josh Armstrong.
