Guest Lecture Recital: The life and music of African-American composer Florence Price

| Dr. JoAnne Stephenson, Associate Professor of Music at University of Central Florida, will present a lecture recital on the life and works of African-American composer Florence Price, the first African-American woman to have a composition played by a major orchestra. Dr. Stephenson will sing art songs by Florence Price, with Dr. Karen Fosheim on the piano. This event is free and open to the public. |
