Delta State University sophomore piano performance major Yeim Kim from Seoul, South Korea, won first place in the freshman/sophomore solo piano division of the Mississippi Music Teachers Association Collegiate Competitions held at Belhaven University in Jackson on March 2, 2019.
A year ago, she earned honorable mention at the same.
Kim studies piano with Associate Professor of Music Jung-Won Shin.
