The local branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) partnered with Our House, Inc. to distribute domestic violence awareness purple ribbons and materials to more than 150 students at Delta State University on behalf of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Our House, Inc. provides counseling services for victims of dating violence, sexual assault, domestic violence, family violence, and campus violence, among other issues. An advocate for women and girls, AAUW also supports policies relating to education and outreach.
