
Delta State University Robert E. Smith School of Nursing is one of 12 sites in the United States to participate in a demonstration project aimed at helping organizations increase enrollment into the National Diabetes Prevention Program’s lifestyle change program.
A Discovery Session to learn more about the 16-week lifestyle change program will be held at the Robert E Smith School of Nursing on Oct. 2 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Participants will have the first opportunity to enroll in the 16-week lifestyle. There is no limit to the number of participants who attend the Discovery Session. However, the number of participants to be enrolled in the 16-week program is limited to 25 people.
The 16-week lifestyle change program begins on Tuesday, Oct. 16. Weekly sessions are one-hour and will be held at the School of Nursing from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
