A Voice 4 Peace

Join the Delta Chorale, the Delta Singers Women’s Chorale, and the Delta Singers Singing Statesmen as they join with choirs from around the world in a world-wide peace awareness project. The official AVoice4Peace concert will be simulcast directly from Nairobi, Kenya, the finale of which is “Ukuthula,” a traditional African peace hymn. Singers from Delta State University and the surrounding area will join together in real-time to raise this call for peace from communities around the globe. Delta State University’s Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Adam Potter, is a guest artist with the Nairobi Chamber Chorus, one of the sponsors of the worldwide AVoice4Peace project. The event will be filmed and footage will be included in the documentary film about the legacy of AVoice4Peace.
