Delta State University recognized student achievements for Humanities Honors Day Thursday at Kent Wyatt Hall.The Division of Languages & Literature and the Division of Social Sciences & History at Delta State celebrated Humanities Honors Day with an end of the year reception Thursday.
“We are so proud of our students at Delta State, and these students exhibit sustained excellence in their academic pursuits,” said Don Allan Mitchell, interim chair of the Division of Languages & Literature. “We are fortunate to have them taking classes in our division, and I, for one, learn more from them than they probably do from me.
“Professors are guides on the side of the pathway of higher education, and exceptional students like these make that pathway easy to navigate, and a pleasure to travel.”
