Miss Black and Gold 2025, Jamyia JonesCLEVELAND, Miss. — The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Omicron Psi Chapter at Delta State University is proud to announce that Jamyia Jones, a senior Psychology/Biology double major from Shelby, has been crowned Miss Black & Gold 2025.
The 22-year-old daughter of Renee Andrews and Kontral Jones, Jamyia is a distinguished student-scholar who exemplifies academic excellence and selfless service both on campus and in the community. A proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., she lives by the personal philosophy: “Everyone makes mistakes, but it is how you learn from them that shapes your growth as a person.”
Known for approaching every day with purpose, grace, and resilience, Jamyia is deeply passionate about uplifting others and creating meaningful, lasting change through her leadership and service.
