The McNair Scholars application process is an extensive one. We select scholars based on academic merit, faculty/staff recommendations, and clarity of purpose as evidenced in an entrance essay. McNair Scholars are known for their high achievements and for typically ranking at the top of their classes. This program is extremely competitive and prestigious, but it is even more rewarding.
