Biography

Mr. Pierre le Roux has over 25 years international hands-on experience in policy, design, implementation and operation of national regional enterprise geospatial and geomatics infrastructures. Having designed and implemented cadastral systems internationally, Mr. le Roux is also very familiar with land and real property information management.

Pierre holds a B.Sc. Eng. Degree in Survey Engineering/Geomatics from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, with an attached major in Computer Science, and a Master of Science Degree in Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and is a registered Professional Land Surveyor.  He is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

He currently consults internationally on geomatics, emergency response, unmanned systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance to private, government, defense and law enforcement sectors. He also teaches courses in remote sensing.
