Dr. E. L. Lancaster, guest artist teacher at the Department of Music's 11th annual Art of the Piano.
The Delta State University Department of Music will host the 11th annual Art of the Piano on Saturday, Feb. 1, 2020, at the Bologna Performing Arts Center. This annual piano festival is open to all piano students and teachers.
The guest artist teacher will be Dr. E. L. Lancaster, executive editor, piano, for Alfred Music, and an adjunct piano faculty member at California State University, Northridge. He will provide written comments on the performance of each student and work with selected students in master classes. He will also present a session for teachers and college students, Piano for Life.
