Welcome from the Chair

The School of Leadership, Research, and Psychology is a robust and innovative school within the College of Education, Arts, and Humanities. An undergraduate degree in Psychology is offered within the school. The graduate programs include an array of degree options for those seeking to expand their expertise through continued education. These programs include a Master’s and Specialist in Educational Administration and Supervision, Specialist in Higher Education, Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction, and Doctor of Professional Studies (tracks in Higher Education, Educational Administration and Supervision, and Curriculum and Instruction).

The school’s outstanding faculty possess an array of expertise in teaching and learning in the areas of psychology, K-12 education, educational administration, higher education, and research. The overarching goal of the school is to provide high quality instruction coupled with targeted and intensive clinical practice to prepare future psychologists and future and existing educators to transform the field of psychology and K-12 education. Through mutually beneficial partnerships with P-12 schools, alumni, and stakeholders, our programs within the School of Leadership, Research, and Psychology provide a level of preparation for our students that simultaneously benefit P-12 children and stakeholders. Students in each of our programs are provided extensive opportunities to engage in interactive teaching and learning activities while bridging both theory and research to practical applications.
