By February 25, 2020

On Monday, March 2, at 7 pm in Jobe Hall on the Delta State University campus, guest Fulbright Scholar Dr. Slawomir Lukasiewicz will present a lecture, “Cold War Revisited: What Can We Learn from History?” The talk is free and open to the public.

Lukasiewicz directs the Institute of European Studies at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland, where he is a university professor and chairs the Institute’s Department of Political Science. He currently is a visiting scholar at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University.

Jamie Dahman, Delta State’s Fulbright Scholar liaison, says, “We are fortunate to be able to host a Fulbright Scholar through the Fulbright Program’s Outreach Lecturing Fund for the second year in a row. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students and faculty to learn from an international scholar. I hope for an enthusiastic turnout.”

A reception will follow.
