On Wednesday, Feb. 12, Career Services will host its semiannual Young Professional’s Conference. Once each semester, the Office of Career Services provides a learning experience geared toward filling common skills gaps among students. This semester, the theme of the Young Professional’s Conference is networking. It will feature a keynote address by 2018 finalist for the Mississippi Business Journal’s Business Woman of the Year Award and business networking professional, Zetella Gooch.
The conference will also include the annual Passport to Success program co-sponsored by the DSU National Alumni Association. Students will be setup on essential digital networking platforms like Statesmen Connect and LinkedIn™.
Event registration can be found at www.deltastate.edu/YPC. Registration closes on Feb. 10 and is open to all students (Delta State University, nearby colleges and universities, and high schools) free of charge.
