Emily Newman, an instructor in the Robert E. Smith School of Nursing, and Loretta Jackson, associate professor in the Department of Social Work, received 2019-20 Connected Educator Awards.

Each year the Office of Information Technology sponsors the Connected Educator event in which students are asked to nominate faculty who have had a positive impact on their learning experience through the use of technology. This year, students submitted more than 130 nominations about 72 faculty members.

The Connected Educator Award Luncheon occurred on Oct. 30, 2019; all nominated faculty were recognized and the winners were announced.
