Delta State’s Online Integrated MBA Program Makes National List of Best of 2019

Delta State University’s online integrated MBA program ranks among the best in the nation, according to OnlineMBAPage.com, which provides research for online MBA students.

Thirty-three programs nationwide made the cut—one per 33 states—and all come with accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). As opposed to other specialized business accreditors, it focuses “squarely on teaching and learning,” states OnlineMBApage.com.

“The iMBA program at Delta State is the online version of their already successful on campus MBA. Designed expressly to cater to professionals and managers working to expand their interpersonal, managerial, and leadership skills, the iMBA builds in flexibility from day one,” explains OnlineMBAPage.com. Because online classes are chat- and discussion-based, students are put in touch counterparts “with similar goals but a diverse range of experiences.” The program also “works hard” to offer networking opportunities and hands-on learning with area businesses. “All this comes at a remarkably low cost per credit, making Delta [State] a smart choice for students anywhere in the country looking for an exceptional value.”

OnlineMBAPage.com based its rankings on the flexibility, speed, and quality of the programs. Other “exceptional merits” included faculty qualifications, outside business partnerships, number and quality of available concentrations, and quality and breadth of online learning systems.

“It is an honor to have been selected as one of the top online MBA programs accredited by ACBSP,” said Carla Johnson, director for graduate business programs at Delta State.

“This award recognizes the commitment of our faculty to provide our students with an exceptional educational experience.”

Delta State’s iMBA program offers five concentrations including general business, human resource, health care administration, information systems management and entertainment industry studies.

Dr. Billy C. Moore, dean of the College of Business and Aviation, added: “This designation reflects our faculty’s emphasis on ensuring our students have a holistic understanding of business, accomplished through integrated content, teamwork, and experiential learning.”

Other recent recognition for the online integrated MBA program includes most affordable, according to Great College Deals in 2016 (sixth in the nation), Best Value MBA in 2016 (13th in the nation), and U.S. News & World Report in 2015 (8th in the nation), along with making the 2016 list at BestMastersDegrees.com.
