The annual Delta International Film Festival will take place from 6-9 p.m. April 9-11 in the Recital Hall at the Bologna Performing Arts Center.
This is the ninth consecutive year the DIFVF has brought international cinema to the Delta. The 2014 program includes films made locally, along with films from Brazil, Argentina and South Korea.
Ron Douglas, assistant professor of art at Delta State said, “Having an international film festival helps promote Delta State and Cleveland as the artistic hub of the region. The Delta International Film Festival advances cultural awareness by showing diverse forms of expression created through film and video. I find it exciting that films from the U.S., Argentina, Brazil and South Korea have found their way to Delta State’s campus and that we have this wonderful opportunity to see them.”
This event is free and open to the public. For more information about the festival, contact Ron Douglas at 662-846-4731 or email@example.com.
