Delta State to present oratorical contest

Sponsored each semester by the Speech Communication and Theatre program though the Division of Languages and Literature at Delta State University, the Spring Oratorical Contest will take place on Wednesday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. inside the Jobe Theatre on campus.

Eight students, currently enrolled in the SPE 101: Fundamentals of Speech Communication course, will be competing for first place honors in two speech categories: informative and persuasive. Participants include Lawrence Allen, Megan Christiansen, Joy Greer, Patrick Penson, Whitney Hille, Jeffrey Kitchens, Jessica LaFerny and Tameka Phillips.
