Introduction

Have a question about the Library? Need to find information about a topic? Want to know how to use the electronic databases? The reference staff at Roberts-LaForge Library seeks to answer all of these questions and more. The department’s mission is to help patrons locate and evaluate information using a variety of print and electronic sources. The reference librarians answer all forms of library-related questions, create various written guides, and regularly conduct orientations and instruction sessions that help facilitate the research process. The reference staff also assists in developing the library’s print and electronic resources.

The reference department is located on the first floor to the right of the library’s entrance. Normally at least one reference librarian is on duty during library hours. To get in touch with a reference librarian, please call us at (662) 846-4431 or email us at refdesk@deltastate.edu.
