Judge Registration is NOW open for our Lower Science Fair
Many judges will be needed for the Region III Science Fairs each year. Judges will be required to judge projects in a face to face setting on the DSU Campus. The Upper Fair for 7th-12th graders will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. The Lower Fair for 1st-6th graders will be Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
Due to a shortage of registered judges or last minute cancellations, judges must understand that science fair administration may be required to give categories outside of the judge’s listed options. Judges will be asked to judge the extra categories to the best of their ability.
Lower Fair (1st – 6th Grade) Judge Qualifications: must be a College Junior, College Senior, Graduate Student, or anyone that holds a degree.
Upper Fair (7th – 12th Grade) Judge Qualifications: For 7th and 8th grade projects a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree is needed. For 9th – 12th grade, a Master’s Degree, Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree with related professional experience is required. –
