Vision
To provide a mechanism for collaboration among educational leadership faculty across the state of Mississippi in order to present a collective voice to advocate for policy and practice yielding highly effective P-12 educational programs.
Membership
Is open to faculty from MDE approved educational leadership preparation programs .
Current Efforts to Prepare “Day 1 Ready” School Leader
- Alignment of EDL programs to national and state school leadership program criteria.
- Development of common assessments that EDL candidates will complete prior to graduation on the MS Professional Growth System, School Improvement, School and Community Relations, and School Safety.
- Development of common Candidate Dispositions to assess EDL candidates adherence to the MS Code of Ethics as well as their effectiveness in clinical experiences.
