Mission
The mission of The Art of the Piano FOR TEACHERS is to bring piano teachers together to explore the art of playing and teaching the piano. Meant to inspire and inform, this summer program is open to all piano teachers in private studios, K-12 schools, community music schools, and colleges and universities. The program will consist of repertoire forums, a piano ensemble workshop, an open discussion session on questions about teaching piano that teachers will bring in, a Q & A session, and a recital featuring participating teachers. Teachers are invited to perform and contribute their music and ideas to benefit one another during the forums, open discussion, workshop, and recital.
