To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, the following guidelines apply:[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=&#8221;No Line&#8221;][toggles style=&#8221;default&#8221; accordion=&#8221;true&#8221; accordion_starting_functionality=&#8221;default&#8221;][toggle color=&#8221;Default&#8221; title=&#8221;Tailgating Locations&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Statesmen Park<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Designated as the primary tailgating location.<\/li>\n<li>Tailgating space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.\n<ul>\n<li>No reservations for space in Statesman Park.<\/li>\n<li>The University may elect to reserve spaces for special events, projects, or groups within the University in Statesman Park.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Amplified music is not permitted at Statesmen Park one hour prior to kick off or during the game.\n<ul>\n<li>Any tailgate with amplified music will be asked to turn it off.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Quad<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Space is available to anyone wishing to have amplified sound including one hour prior to kick off or during the game.<\/li>\n<li>Any group seeking to tailgate in this area must request a reservation for space through the Vice President for Student Affairs.\n<ul>\n<li>Registration ensures adequate planning for space, safety, and services<\/li>\n<li>Space will be reserved based upon space availability and order of registration.\n<ul>\n<li>The University reserves the right to place organizations in proximity to each other before consideration of when a registration was received.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Space reservation must occur <strong>through the Vice President for Student Affairs no less than two (2) days before a game<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>No later than 5 pm on the preceding Thursday before Saturday games<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>No later than 5 pm on the preceding Tuesday before Thursday games<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=&#8221;Default&#8221; title=&#8221;General Guidelines&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Friday Night Tailgating<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Due to preplanned events on the Quad for student Homecoming activities, Friday night tailgating and\/or setup will not be permitted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Game Day Tailgating<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Setup may begin no earlier than <strong>10:00 a.m. on game day<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>All activities must conclude, and areas cleared by 11:59 pm.<\/li>\n<li>Tailgating may be limited or canceled due to inclement weather or other safety concerns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alcohol Consumption<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>All participants are expected to follow university policies, state laws, and safety regulations regarding alcohol consumption.<\/li>\n<li>Personal glass containers are prohibited on The Quad and Statesman Park.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][toggle color=&#8221;Default&#8221; title=&#8221;Conduct &amp; Safety&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<ul>\n<li>Alcohol consumption must comply with Mississippi state law.<\/li>\n<li>Glass containers are prohibited.<\/li>\n<li>Tailgaters are responsible for cleaning their areas before departure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/toggle][\/toggles][divider line_type=&#8221;Full Width Line&#8221; line_thickness=&#8221;1&#8243; divider_color=&#8221;default&#8221;][vc_column_text]\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\">Tailgating Application Form<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=&#8221;No Line&#8221;][vc_column_text]Tailgating registration is only required for those who wish to tailgate with amplified sound on the Quad.
