font-size: 12pt;\">Each school must submit a School Registration form to the Region III Office no later than November 10, 2025 to secure your schools attendance at the Lower or Upper Region III Fairs.\u00a0\u00a0 The information page, SRC Committee, and IRB Committee pages must be completed properly in order for Region III to accept the form.\u00a0 School Registration forms must be submitted <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">electronically<\/span> through the link below.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=&#8221;No Line&#8221;][nectar_btn size=&#8221;small&#8221; color: #008000;\"><strong>Event Plans<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">At this time, we are planning to hosts FACE TO FACE Regional Science Fairs for Upper and Lower age groups.\u00a0 There are no requirements at this time for mask or social distancing according to the DSU COVID Protocol, however all attendees must understand that this can change at anytime and they will be required to follow any adjustments on the day of the event.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=&#8221;No Line&#8221;][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #008000;\"><strong>Participant Fees<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Each participant project submission will cost <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>$30.00 per student<\/strong>.<\/span> \u00a0 A team project is $30 <strong>per<\/strong> team member.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The $30 per participant must be paid on the due date of project registration for the Upper and Lower Fairs.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Payments may be mailed at DSU Continuing Education, ATTN: Region III Science Fair, 239 Kent Wyatt Hall, Cleveland, MS 38733 OR dropped off at our office location at 239 Kent Wyatt Hall.\u00a0\u00a0 If the fee is being paid by the district, you may email the paperwork with the PO# to us at sciencefair@deltastate.edu by the student registration paperwork deadline.\u00a0\u00a0 You, as the key teacher, are responsible for making sure the district receives the invoice for payment and that the check is cut and mailed to our office.[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=&#8221;No Line&#8221;][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Project Categories<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Projects must fall under the following categories at the school, regional, and state fairs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Behavioral and Social Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Biochemistry<\/li>\n<li>Inorganic Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Organic Chemistry<\/li>\n<li>Earth and Environmental Science<\/li>\n<li>Animal Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Biomedical and Health Sciences<\/li>\n<li>Microbiology<\/li>\n<li>Physics and Astronomy<\/li>\n<li>Engineering Mechanics<\/li>\n<li>Mathematics and Systems Software<\/li>\n<li>Robotics and Intelligent Machines<\/li>\n<li>Plant Sciences<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.deltastate.edu\/PDFFiles\/Continuing Education\/Project-Categories.pdf\">Project\u00a0Category\u00a0Details:<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A complete list and full description of Project categories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n[\/vc_column_text][divider line_type=&#8221;No Line&#8221;][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Display and Safety Guidelines for Projects and Event Day<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Students must follow the Display and Safety rules on their boards and during judging at the regional fair.\u00a0 It is best to require these same rules for your school fair.
